| Shel: We went into Anchorage and took a one hour tour of the city. I decided that we really needed 2 batteries for dry camping, so today we went around Anchorage picking up the parts to put them in. Afterwards we headed out of town toward the Kenai pennisula. We wound up in Seward, in a campground right on Resurrection Bay. | |||

We had lots of rain and wind. This was taken in Turnagin Arm which is really beautiful when the sun is out and the tide is in. The mud in the mud flats is made up of silt and if you walk out on them, they can act like quicksand . |
