Shel: We drove up to Chicken Alaska, yes there is such a place. It's not big, but has two full RV parks. Downtown has a gift shop, saloon, and cafe. Geni: Chicken has a population of 37 people and it closes up for winter. It is strictly a tourist spot - just gift shops and gold mining locations. We stayed for free but patronized the cafe and gift shops. There were two other RV sites there as well. It was very, very low key. |
