Shel: Today we just kind of toured around town. We took in a show about Soapy Smith, a character in the history of Skagway. We also did some shopping. When we got here yesterday, they weren't any campsites available so we dry camped in a field. Today we moved into a campground in a parking lot - water and electricity! Tomorrow Geni and I will take the White Pass train ride while Roland goes out on a charter boat to catch our dinner.

Geni: Skagway is our first town to really be over run with tourists. This is my first experience with cruise ships and I am amazed at how gigantic they are and how many people are crowding the streets looking to buy souvenirs. Went to a cute play which gave us a little history of a shady guy who ran the town for a while.
