Geni: It was nice to revisit Glacier National Park. The weather wasn't great but we avoided most of the rain. The Road to the Sun, which was previously closed due to snow, had reopened although parts of it were pretty foggy. We went to Many Glacier, which we missed last visit and were lucky enough to see a moose and her calf, walking right near us. We also saw bears far away on a hill. I was really excited because we never see wildlife on our trips. It must have been Rachel and Roland who brought us luck! Didn't get to the Canadian side of the park, but tomorrow we go to Banff in Canada. Shel: We left the trailer and motor home at a campground and ventured out to the park. We drove all the way around the bottom of the park as the only road bisecting the park was supposed to be closed. We then found out it was open, but it is narrow, winding and slow, so we made the right decision. We're all gassed up, hooked up and ready to venture into Canada tomorrow. |

A close encounter with a moose and it's child. They walked so close to Roland and Rachel they could have just reached out and touched it. |

Two bears spotted high up in a field while we were having lunch. |

This is the first day the year that the road to the sun was open. The visitor's center was socked in with fog, There was also lots of snow still on the ground. |
