Sheldon and Geni's 2018 Trip to Alaska
Today is: June 27 (16,394)
We woke up in: Grand Cache, AB We're going to sleep in: Pink Mountain BC

Shel: We drove - just over 300 miles. We are now on the Alaska Highway, 143 miles north of Dawson Creek. So far the 'highway' is much better than I expected.

Geni: Lots of driving. A truck sent a rock hitting our windshield above my side, about the size of a quarter, but it isn't affecting my view. Roland has two cracks in his camper windshield. I guess at this point it will be who ends up with the most hits before we get home. We just checked the time and realized it's after 10. I guess you can't go by "when it gets dark," because it doesn't get dark in these parts and we're not even in Alaska yet. No wonder we are soooo tired. SOme places are cold and windy!

A famous spot where tourists take their picture!

This is the real spot which is the '0' Milepost

That's us!

It's cheaper to push it then put gas in, but you don't get as far (no worries, just a joke!. . .hope it doesn't come true!
