Shel: Happy Anniversary to my bride :) 5 years! Today was pretty much a travel day. We overslept, didn't get up until almost 7. We stopped at the sign post forest in Watson Lake and also watched a movie on sunspots and northern lights. If you are having trouble getting some of the photos to load, try reloading that web page. Geni: It was a travel day, but we stopped at the famous Watson Lake Sign Post Forest where people from all over the world leave a sign. We did not leave a sign! We got to see little bear cub on the side of the road, but not a lot of animals out today. Roland got his fourth crack in his windshield, so he is winning the contest to our one crack. Hopefully he will be able to continue dodging the cracks so he can see out the windshield. Happy Anniversary to my thoughtful husband who gave me a card, even though I didn't get him one! |
Stopped on road where Yukon sign and cairn showing the line between BC and Yukon. In both provinces at same time! |

Saw this place on Youtube websites of people traveling to Alaska and now we have been there! |
One of the original shovels restored. There was also a restored bulldozer. |
Thousands of signs - they keep adding more posts for new signs |
Just one of the many long, windy roads - part of the Alaska Highway |
Bridge into a little village, Teslin, where we stopped for the night |
