Back when we first went to San Diego, backing into the camp site at Dos Picos, I ruined the A/C cover on the main A/C. The new cover would cost $240 ( for a 10 year old unit ) and a new more efficient one will cost about $1300.

While I'm at it, the roards are narrow with no shoulder. If you get a flat, you have to stay in the lane to fix it. Plus there is the 'Baja High Five" when 2 passing trucks wipe out mirrors. Luckily it didn't happen to us.

Lots of different cactus along the mostly paved roads. Had to go througha military checkpoint outside San Ingnacio who waved us through, and then a National Guard checkpoint closer to Guerrero who also waved us through. Back to Mario's campground and whale watching tomorrow.
