Shel: Due to very poor planing on my part, the campground I selected was 3 hours away from where I wanted to go in the Great Smokey Mountains National Park. So today we instead went to see several water falls in the area ( round trip was 150 miles :)) For those of you that have been to Hawaii and traveled the 'Road to Hana" you didn't have to go that far. We traveled through Pisgah National Forest and it was very hilly and very curvy. We did see some nice falls though. Tomorrow is a travel day as we are headed to Charleston.
Geni: As seen by the pictures, it was visiting waterfalls day. We drove up very windy roads and drove down very windy roads in search of these falls. I don't know how he does it because my stomach was rolling around a bit. The waterfalls were ok, but what was more interesting were the rock formations of the falls. It was probably too much driving to find them, but they were very lovely to look at.
