| We woke up in: | Savannah, GA | We're going to sleep in: | Savannah, GA |
Shel: Great time today, we did a food tour and the guide was very funny and we had some great food. Then we wandered around the city and got back to the camper a little after 6.
Geni: Poured like crazy through the night with lots of thunder and lightning. Morning was overcast but sun came out mid-morning and no more rain. We went on a food tour (Savannah taste experience - the famous and secret east side food tour) which was really fun, especially because Dorothy, who liked to be called Country, was just so funny, with her southern drawl and funny stories. She didn't stop talking from the time we met her to the time the tour ended, which was close to three and a half hours (it was supposed to be 3 hours). She talked about herself and lots of ghost and history facts. She was so entertaining. The food was fun, drinks were extra, but came highly recommended. I had a frozen rose and also a pineapple mojito. After, we walked along the water as well as down many streets and spent the day there. This time we walked 8 1/2 miles. We went to different parts of the city than where we were last time.
