Geni has arrived!! I messed up and thought she was coming in on Delta at 11:14 but in fact she came in on United at 12:27, so I spent an extra hour in the cell phone lot. She finally found me and we then went out for lunch and came back to the campground. Great having her here. I did the first leg of this trip, 2622 miles alone.

Geni: Plane ride was uneventful and got here safely. But Denver airport is so big. From the time I got off the plane to finally meeting up with Shel, it took 35 minutes. I had to walk, take a train between terminals, go on moving walkways, go up and down escalators and an elevator. I confess that I did get lost when I finally found the exit to the terminal and it was for limos, taxis, buses. I had to ask someone where to go for people pick up and for that I had to take an elevator down (or maybe up -- I was confused by then). Denver is NOT Logan.

And Denver is not Boston. You look around and see a big sky with clouds almost touching the ground.
