Sheldon and Geni's 2023 Gillette Trip
Today is: August 29
We woke up in: Longmont, CO We're going to sleep in: Longmont, CO

Shel: Had a real busy day today. Started off with getting the oil changed in the truck, went to Romero's repair and they did a great job and were very reasonable. Then we took a 2-1/2 mile walk around the campground, got a little lost, but not too bad. Followed by relaxing for a while. Then off to Boulder to do some sight seeing. Finally traveled into Denver to meet with the 'twins', Mike and Mark Goldstein

Geni: An article said the Flatirons in Boulder was a must see, so we drove over to see them. These geological formations were renamed Flatirons because a Pioneer woman said they look like irons used to iron clothes. The image is used on many Boulder logos. As is our common practice, we snapped a few photos, walked around the area and left to go to Pearl Street. Located near the college, it is a long street lined with many shops and restaurants. It was fun walking around.

We met my cousins and family for dinner at a restaurant downtown Denver. It was a fun time catching up with family stories, past and present.

Imagine driving down the road everyday and seeing mountains in front of you
