The first part of our travels went smoothly, a couple of hills, but mostly flat. And then we got to Arizona and just kept climbing, not sure if it was the climb or a head wind, but the truck really worked to get us to the campground. Very nice campground, but limited cell service. We unhitched, had lunch and headed to the north rim of the Grand Canyon. It is very different from the south rim. It has woods and is not as open. It was quite hazy and cloudy but the views are still breathtaking, especially when you get near the edge.

Geni: Looking at the magnificance of the Grand Canyon, I can only think -- this is a painted background scenery. It just doesn't look real. But it is beautiful and different every way you turn and truly takes your breath away.
