We ventured down to the Phoenix / Scottsdale area today and had a lovely lunch with Shauna, Ben, and Abigail. Then we went to try out a new mattress for the camper. And back to the trailer.

Geni: Drove to Scottsdale today. Miles and miles between cities and the temperature went up and up -- got to 102. Had such a nice time (and lunch) with my cousin Anita's son Ben, his wife Shauna and little Abigail. We noticed that as we drove, there were cacti along the highway, as well as lots of road work. Back to campground. Lovely day
