We woke up in: Poipu, HI We're going to sleep in: Poipu, HI

Well, started out with no real plans for today. We took a ride to the east side of the island and viewed a couple of waterfalls. The first of the falls was made popular as it was in the openning scene of Fantansy Island (If any of you are old enough for that - seeing Tatoo say "ze plane, zeplane") Then a walk along the beach. After we went to a plantation and took a train ride to tour the plantation.

Chickens everywhere - they are running free and protected by the the state!

At one point the train stopped, we got out and fed the wild boars and goats. There is something like 5 wild boars for every resident of Kuau'i

They all came running to us when the train stopped.

The chickens broke out of their coops when a hurricane hit the island years ago and they have been multiplying ever since
