Our last full day on Kuau'i we took a trip up the Waimea Canyon, the "grand canyon of Hawaii' Along the way we saw some nice water falls and scenery. We stopped at a roadside shrimp place for a great lunch. While there, the chickens were begging food and actually going through the garbage for food.

Had dinner in a very nice restaurant in Poipu mall across from the condo. We were talking to the people at the next table while waiting for out food. When the food arrived, a chicken was on a rock next to our neighbors table. All of a sudden, he jumped onto their table. They shooed him away, but then he flew onto our table and knocked over my water - we shooed him away. The restaurant gave both our table and our neighbors a free Hula Pie dessert. Next day we saw a t-shirt "Friggin Chickens" and understood.
