Sheldon and Geni's 2011 Camping Trip
Today is: October 14
We are in: Happy Traveler Campground near Tampa, PL

Shel: Well, I put the new boost start capacitor in the A/C and maybe we'll get a chance to try it over the next couple of days.

Then we went off to Busch Gardens. What a mess that started out to be. They just don't handle people as well as Universal or Disney. We had AAA discount tickets which said to exchange them at the kiosk near the entrance. Well there were two sets of kiosks that looked like you could buy tickets with charge cards. Someone told us what we had was tickets and we should wait in line to have our bags checked and get in. Well when we got to the front of the line, we were told they weren't tickets and we had to go back to the kiosks. Again the kiosks did not say exchange, but referred to buying. So we then waited in an express pay line which also turned out to be the wrong line. Geni finally found an employee by one of the kiosks that actually knew what they were doing and exchanged the tickets for us. Then we had to wait in the bag check line all over again. It took us over an hour to get into the park. We weren't happy. In the park they also just don't handle people as well. NO queues to line up in, so it is like a free for all.

Geni: They asked me to do a survey when we left, so I have already vented!! Really Busch Gardens was not nearly as impressive as Universal, which wasn't all that impressive, but not bad. Guess it's best to be a little kid when you go to these places, but then, how can little kids wait in line for so long! We did have fun on the tram and the railroad rides. And, it was like going to a zoo, however, most of the animals looked like they were doing ok.

Had a great dinner with David and Gavi. So good to see them!

Pictures speak for themselves!!
