Sheldon and Geni's 2011 Camping Trip
Today is: September 26
We are in:

North Potomac, MD

today we did another whirlwind of a tour of Washington, DC. -- this time it was the museums. Susan dropped us off at the Metro and we went to the Holocaust Museum which though, terribly depressing, was also uniquel and impressive in the way it was presented.

We also went to the Museum of Natural History, where we saw the Hope Diamond and lots of bones and gems. Then we went to the Museum of American History, which had the inaugural dresses of the First Ladies and and the Star Spangled Banner Exhibit. We also saw the Andy Wharhol exhibit, which didn't showcase anything that looked familiar to me and a mobile that Susan thought we should see at the East Building of the National Gallery of Art.

We were lucky again to have the transport chair to wheel my dad all around, although we still tired him out!! Pictures will come tomorrow.
