Today we went to an annex of the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum which displayed many different models of airplanes, helicopters, rockets, space modules, gliders, bombs -- all things related to air and space!! It was quite amazing to see the models of planes from kitty hawk to the space shuttle. We watched an Imax movie about the Hubble telescope, rode in a fighter jet simulator and went up to the observation tower to get a view of Dulles Airport. Dropped dad off at Dulles on our way out and found out the plane was delayed. But this is a plane flight from hell, I'm suspecting, because the flight that was supposed to get to Boston by 7:30 and finally arrived at 10:30!! DOUBLE CLICK ON PICTURE FOR LARGER PICTURE |
