Today is Shel's birthday-- it's a really big one, so I had to do something to celebrate. I took him for breakfast, which you might think is easy, however, there aren't alot of big towns around here and we had to drive around to find a place. Then we did something he would love -- we went truck shopping! Later we went to a park type place to see the beautiful sights. They were nice, but we have become travel snobs because they were nothing compared to what we have seen. We drove around with the windows open as the rented truck doesn't have air conditioning and it reminded me of when I was a kid and we had the wind blowing at us -- something that doesn't happen with rolled up windows and air conditioning. Later we went out to a nice place for dinner. It was the best I could do under the cirucmstances!

Shel: Had a great birthday - nice to hear from so many people - Thanks and a special Thanks to my wife!! The truck has been 'promised' for Friday, so should be home on Sunday.
