| First full day in Quebec, we took a shuttle to Old Quebec City, where we got on a tour bus and toured the sites. We actually did it twice, because the view is much better on the top of the bus. It is an amazing place. The old city is pretty much surrounded by fortifications and is the only walled city in North America. The neighborhoods are so pretty, old world look, with streets lined with shops and european looking homes. Loved being there. | |||
This is the monument signifying UNESCO World Heritage Site, honored because it is the only city in North America to have preserved its fortifications |
