Geni: Went on a walking tour of Luxembourg. Saw the Palais of the Grand Duke of Luxembourg except his family only goes there for public events. They also have a Notre Dame Cathedral. We then took a bus ride and went to the Luxembourg American Cemetary. Soldiers who died from the Battle of the Bulge were buried there. General George Patton also requested to be buried there and that day some family members were coming to visit. It was very moving to see the rows and rows of gravestones.
We were told to bring our passports for when we were returning to Germany from Luxembourg. They were just putting into place a rule that passports were needed. When we got to the border patrol, they spoke to the bus driver and Tim and we were able to drive through without showing passports.
