Geni: Spent the day walking around Bruges. When we walked over in the morning, the courtyards were practically empty. It was fun to have the place to ourselves. Went to see the Madonna and Child by Michaelangelo. The story was that he made this for an Archbishop, who refused it because Jesus was naked. A rich merchant saw it and brought it back to Bruges. We walked around and listened to music and looked in the shops. In our time here, we had Belgium waffles, two different kinds - square and oval shaped. They were definitely different from waffles back home -- much better. I also had mussels for dinner, because it seemed to be the thing to do. Also, they serve french fries with mayo, which I did not warm up to.

Tim had everyone together before dinner for a goodby drink. It was a time to get ready to go home.
