Sheldon and Geni's 2010 Camping Trip
Today is: October 3
We are in: San Diego, CA

We will probably be staying in San Diego indefinitely and getting jobs to pay off the debt incurred for the transmission repair, unless, we find out tomorrow that it isn't as bad as it could be!!

We went to Cheryl's for breakfast and as Shel was driving, he said that the transmission was slipping. Cheryl made us a great breakfast and we got to see the kids for a while. Barbara and Fernando took us to Balboa Park and walked around, took a trolley tour and see a couple of exhibits before we headed back to their house for dinner. (We have certainly been treated royally!!) Trolley tour guide said Balboa Park was the largest city park in U.S., even larger than Central Park in New York. She also said that the park was initially built just as the Panama-California exhibition and the buildings were never intended to hold up this long. So, the city of San Diego took over the upkeep of the park. It is really a place you could keep coming back to for days on end.

Tomorrow we will get the truck to be diagnosed and determine when we will be able to move forward.
