Sheldon and Geni's 2014 Camping Trip
Today is: August 31
We woke up in: Someplace, Ohio We're going to sleep in: St Cloud, MN

Shel: Got in 655 miles today. Made it through St Paul and Minneapolis. Got 1000 miles to go to te first park. Truck pulss very well, but don't ask about gas mileage. Gas is typically cheaper than home.

Geni: Staying at the truck stop last night didn't turn out that great. As Hailey says, "Noisey!" A truck parked next to us and his refer was on all night as well as many other trucks around us. Tough to fall asleep and then I kept waking up, disappointed to find that I only slept an hour longer. Also, it was hot, so we kept the windows open, making the noise louder. But we managed to get through the night. Left around 7:30 and drove in three states. Once again Shel drives like he is driving a sportscar. Once, he maneuvered through a small gas station parking lot and another time between a line of trucks to the left and concrete barriers to the right, with signs saying the left shoulder was closed ahead.

We got to another truck stop for tonight just as it started pouring and thunder and lightening. But it should be quieter since it has cooled down and the trucks won't need engines running tonight. Not much happening besides lots of driving. Googled Petula Clark, Lulu and Freddie Cannon today to find out Stheir status.
