Shel: Another great day, met up with Dan and Michelle for Breakfast, a quick tour of SLC and then up to Snow Basin for Octoberfest! Took the tram up to the top of the mountain - view was spectacular and I can't believe that people ski down from the top. Geni: So nice of Dan and Michelle to bring us up to Snow Basin where they were having an Octoberfest which lasts from now until mid-october! Took a tram ride up to 11,000 feet. Overcast skies, but that didn't dampen the day. There are so many places in this area for skiing, mountain biking and hiking. We took a drive by of Salt Lake City on our way to the mountains. All the buildings had beautiful rooms to see, but we didn't want to spend time touring them. This is a panoramic view from the top of Hidden Peak |
