Again we woke up early, watched the first few balloons rise while we had our coffee then headed over to the field. We didn't go in this time, but stayed outside with the sun behind us and got some great shots.

Geni: Today was Flight of the Nations Mass Ascension, which to me only meant the balloons were being blown up and sent off at the same time. So I wanted to see that. Although they did not all go up simultaneously, which would probably not have been safe anyway, the sight was once again spectacular. We decided to stay up high to get a better view, but there were lots of people down at the field. We came back to see if any of the balloons landed near our camper, but today, none did. I think tomorrow we will skip the morning viewing and watch from our camper. They will be having afternoon and evening events, so we'll head out then. This afternoon we went to the Balloon Museum and heard an interesting talk, but spent most of the day by the camper.
