Sheldon and Geni's 2019 out west
Today is: September 8 (35662) MAP
We woke up in: Strasbufg, CO We're going to sleep in: Chatfield State Pahk, CO

Easy day today. Packed up the camper and drove about 64 miles to a campground south of Denver. The Chatfield Lake campsite is really nice, poured cement pad, 50A service and sewer - what else could I ask for? Took a 1.4 mile walk around the campground and then toured it by truck. Many bike trails. Took a nap too :)

Geni: Nice relaxing day, which is very unusual for us. After 3 days of driving long hours and moving into two different time zones, we spent the day around the campground. We explored this lovely campground. Late afternoon, we had a spectacular thunder and lightning rain storm, but it finally stopped raining and the sun is coming out. Tomorrow we go to Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs

Birds were neat, when then flew away they had white wingtips, but I couldn't get a good picture (looked it up, black billed magpie)
